Health Benefits of Sleeping on an Adjustable Mattress
Adjustable Beds can actually make you healthier. The medical benefits are not just for hospitals anymore, and adding a memory foam mattress can make your sleep experience that much better. A flat bed causes your body to shift into cramped positions and cause improper posture as you sleep. People with back or joint problems are made worse by sleeping on a flat bed. Sleeping on your side causes problems with breathing and circulation. Adjustable beds allow you to sleep on your back and by inclining your upper body and lower body into a more comfortable position. Alleviate Back Pain
Patients with back pain are advised to use adjustable beds. A flat bed may not provide the proper support for the spinal cord, resulting in excess back pain and restless sleep. Inclining the bed at 45 degrees provides relief for the lower back. By raising the foot of the bed relieves even more pressure on the spine, which raises the legs and bends the knees. Additionally, you can actually stretch your back from bed, by positioning it upright and slowly lowering it down.
Relief from Acid Reflex and Heartburn
Patients suffering from acidity benefit from having their upper body elevated 6 to 8 inches. This helps the stomach to retain the acids. On a flat bed, acid moves to the esophagus leading to episodes of acid reflex or heartburn. Elevating the head while sleeping helps the stomach retain acids that might otherwise travel up the esophagus and cause heartburn.
Improve Breathing for Maximum Lung Expansion
Patients are able to improve breathing, which delivers more oxygen to the body. This prevents the heart from working harder to deliver oxygen and blood to vital organs. Those suffering from congestion also benefit from the bed being elevated. Keeping sinus and lungs clear, and keeps fluid and mucus at bay. Asthma and Snoring
Elevating the upper body benefits patients with Asthma. On a horizontal mattress it restricts air tubes and increases the difficulty of moving air to vital major organs. Purchased midium Matress ProadaptMD-king with base on August 18, 2021 and after 30 days it was not comfortable and the only other option they gave us was to exchange it for the Firm one and pay the difference. We had paid so much already and we hoped the firm one was going to be better but no way, it feels like sleeping on concrete so firm that it does not even conform to the adjustable base when raised and on top of that it's way too hot even with the cooling protector they sold us. It's so hot that my husband and I are starting to experience kidney pain on one side and my back pain has worsened, If I sleep in my side I feel like my ribcage gets compressed and can't find a good position at all. Paid so much for it trying to find a solution to my back pain. Have contacted Tempurpedic and pretty much indicated they can't do anything about it we stuck with this bed because we purchased through a retailer and they won't do anything about it either. We much rather sleep on our couch now. What a waste of money.

Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .

I had an original firm mattress and was worried the new tempur wouldn't live up to old one. I got the firm one and it seems comparable to my original in firmness (or very very close). Thank goodness cause I love this mattress. Not used to the chill coating but put thick mattress cover to to try and prevent cool. Still some cool but I'm ok. I love my mattress.

California King mattress set inside my old waterbed frame which has a solid wood base. The right side kind of caves in. When I move to the center of the mattress, I feel I'm moving uphill and sleeping on a ridge. The left side of the mattress feels ok. Not sure why this mattress feels different than the same exact mattress I ordered 2 months ago for my guest room double bed, but it's definitely different. I've had to order a custom foundation to fit the waterbed frame. Hopefully when that arrives the mattress will feel better.

I can't believe I am saying this, but this mattress has changed my life. I have had horrible back pain for 3 years now. I have gotten two injections and done everything but surgery.

Delivery was messed up twice with no regret for the impact it made on our lives. Limited communication to fix the issue; we were told we would get free pillows to make up for the difficulty, no communication since. When we reach out to Tempur-Pedic we were met with condescending responses and messages stating they couldn't find our order with our email despite sending screen shots of the purchase and exchanges with customer service. Despite the like or dislike of the bed we will never purchase from this company again. Customer service makes the difference and what we have received has been horrid

I really like the TEMPRA-PROAdapt medium mattress. I wake-up every morning Not feeling sore anymore. I have had a sleep number bed for many years and really liked it, but with my injury's over the years I would wake-up sore. Not any longer! I have had some difficulty with the delivery. They delivered it and put it on my platform of my bed. It is not advised to do that and I'm having a hard time getting them back out. Aladdin at the Edina store has been wonderful to work with. He is trying his hardest to get this resolved. He has ALWAYS gotten back to me within the day, when I've called. I am very pleased with the bed and base. Hopping that it will be soon for someone to come back out and remove the mattress and base and put legs on base. Over all I'm am very pleased with customer support and product. Thanks again Aladdin for all your help.

I had a traditional mattress and it didn't give me many issues until I started sleeping on it with my partner. After I started waking up with back pains and aches everywhere. We started looking for mattresses and after extensive research decided to spend the money on a tempurpedic. This was due to longevity and quality of materials.
I expected immediate relief, however it took about a week for me to start feeling less sore and another week for my body to get used to the tempur feel. A month in and I'm loving it. Pain is gone and I cannot wait to get into bed.
I'm very happy with the purchase and choice we made. The peace of mind knowing this mattress will last is the cherry on the top.

It took a few weeks for my body to adjust to the tempur feel and mattress itself.
Pros:
-The mattress fixed my soreness and body aches/back pain.
-The quality of material

The mattress was hard at first then once broken in is terrific. Live the head of bed elevated just a little so far. Love the king size!
