What is white-glove delivery?
This premium service includes the transportation and installation of your new furniture or mattress, as well as any cleanup related to the packing and protective materials used to safely transport your new merchandise. Health Benefits of Sleeping on an Adjustable Mattress
Adjustable Beds can actually make you healthier. The medical benefits are not just for hospitals anymore, and adding a memory foam mattress can make your sleep experience that much better. A flat bed causes your body to shift into cramped positions and cause improper posture as you sleep. People with back or joint problems are made worse by sleeping on a flat bed. Sleeping on your side causes problems with breathing and circulation. Adjustable beds allow you to sleep on your back and by inclining your upper body and lower body into a more comfortable position. Many of us find it enjoyable to rest on a recliner and there are reasons why it becomes a place to relax. Today people read in bed, work on their laptops and watch TV in bed. On a flat bed you must arrange many pillows to make yourself comfortable. The pillows move out of position and you end up with a back or neck ache.

Alleviate Back Pain
Patients with back pain are advised to use adjustable beds. A flat bed may not provide the proper support for the spinal cord, resulting in excess back pain and restless sleep. Inclining the bed at 45 degrees provides relief for the lower back. By raising the foot of the bed relieves even more pressure on the spine, which raises the legs and bends the knees. Patients having low back surgery feel an adjustable bed is far more comfortable than a flat bed. Additionally, you can actually stretch your back from bed, by positioning it upright and slowly lowering it down.
Relief from Acid Reflex and Heartburn
Patients suffering from acidity benefit from having their upper body elevated 6 to 8 inches. This helps the stomach to retain the acids. On a flat bed, acid moves to the esophagus leading to episodes of acid reflex or heartburn. Elevating the head while sleeping helps the stomach retain acids that might otherwise travel up the esophagus and cause heartburn.
Improve Breathing for Maximum Lung Expansion
Patients are able to improve breathing, which delivers more oxygen to the body. This prevents the heart from working harder to deliver oxygen and blood to vital organs. Those suffering from congestion also benefit from the bed being elevated. Keeping sinus and lungs clear, and keeps fluid and mucus at bay. Sleeping in a slightly upright position takes stress off of the lungs, which can help those who suffer from asthma or sleep apnea.
Asthma and Snoring
Elevating the upper body benefits patients with Asthma. On a horizontal mattress it restricts air tubes and increases the difficulty of moving air to vital major organs. Sciatica and More
Patients experience from occasional pain to extreme pain. Many people prefer to sleep on their side or even their stomachs but the best position for sleep is on your back. Sleeping on our side in a semi-fetal position seems very comfortable. Spinal alignment, breathing, pressure points and blood flow is difficult in this position. Sam answered all of my questions and my mothers questions clearly. He really cares about the customer to get the perfect mattress and takes pride in working for American Mattress. Mattress is good. It feels refreshing and I like that the mattress takes the shape of your body when you laid down. You feel the entire mattress on your body. For the price, I was expecting a little more. This mattress costs me over $2K and I don't feel there's a huge difference with the under $1K mattresses I have purchased before. However, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I discovered the mattress because my sister has one and I sleep great when I'm visiting. It took me a few years to decide but back pain finally forced a decision. The mattress is amazing. I went with the low end plain mattress and and super happy with it. It is completely worth the money.
I'd skip the power base and just get the flat one unless money is not an issue for you. I've found the power base is best when flat and unplugged which defeats the purpose of it. Base is not returnable so think hard on it.

the mattress has a growing dent in it where my husband sleeps and he is only about 170 lbs. I tried to contact the company before the end of the 1st year via e-mail, sending pictures as their website instructs and received an acknowledgement of the inquiry. That was on 10/4/2024. Have received no other response since. Although I like the product and it has helped improve our sleep, I would like for it to last longer, considering the price.

I previously had a medium hybrid pro adapt queen sized tempurpedic. It last for many years but we wanted to upgrade to a king size. We went with the Adapt split king in medium for two reasons. 1) we wanted to minimize motion transfer as much as possible since we both tend to toss and turn, so that's why we went with the split king. We just put it in a regular king platform frame because we don't care about them being adjustable. This has been a great choice for us. Reason 2) we went with the Adapt over the Pro Adapt was the cost differential. The prob just wasn't in our budget for a split king. I find it to be incredibly comfortable but also firm enough for my lower back issues. I was worried about getting a medium vs a hybrid medium since the hybrid tends to have a little more support for the lower back, but with slightly less foam in the Adapt I don't sink down as much, which has basically evened things out for my back. We love tempur pedic and would never buy any other mattress. This is our third one over a period of 20+ years and they hold up great.

We've had our Tempur-Pedic mattress for a few weeks now, and it has truly been life-changing. I've suffered from lower back pain for years, and my husband has constant neck and shoulder tension. Since we started sleeping on this mattress, we've both noticed a huge improvement - we're sleeping deeper and waking up with far less pain and stiffness.
We also purchased the adjustable base, which really elevates the entire experience - literally and figuratively! I deal with GERD and acid reflux, and being able to sleep slightly elevated has made a major difference. I wake up feeling so much better and far less nauseous.
The matching Tempur-Pedic pillows are amazing too - they provide great support without being too firm. And although the whole setup was a big investment, it has already proven to be worth every penny. You can't put a price on real rest and waking up pain-free.
One more shoutout: the delivery team was incredible. They were fast, professional, and had everything set up so efficiently. We were seriously impressed.
If you're on the fence - don't wait. This mattress has truly improved our quality of life, and we're so glad we made the switch.

I suffer from Chronic Back pain due to an injury and I needed a mattress really bad but wasn't sure about spending alot of money. I went into stores and tried TempurPedic Adapt Med Hybrid and just couldn't believe the comfort of the mattress. I wasn't sure how my back would react because I toss and turn So much due to my pain. We purchased our mattress April 2021 and we were really impressed with it. Here we are 4 years later and not so impressed. We both are not sleeping well as it has lost it's support. We have a hump in the centre that makes you unable to stretch out. Both of us are sleeping close to the edge as that seems to be the only place we can get comfortable. My husband actually fell out of bed recently trying to get comfortable. If the cost had been less we would have replaced the mattress by now. We aren't sure what to do about this.

I purchased my first Temperpedic Mattress over 20 years ago and was incredibly happy with that purchase. I bought a Hotel version of the consumer mattress in a firm level of support. I replaced that mattress with a Temperpedic Adapt 2.0 Medium just the other day. The original mattress was just as good when they picked it up as the day I bought many years ago. I was younger then and firm was the right support for me. Now a days, I needed something a little softer. When in the store, I only looked at Temperpedic for my mattress replacement. Even though it was not the most expensive, I loved the feel and comfort of the Adapt 2.0 Medium. I bought the mattress and it was delivered the next day. I slept on it last night for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. I usually switch from my left side to my right and back all through the night. I don't remember rolling over once. It was a solid sleep for just under 8 hours and I feel so good about it that I woke up and immediately came online to write this review and tell everyone about the excitement I have for my new Temperpedic Mattress.

This is my second time purchasing a Tempurpedic mattress and I am disappointed with the sales support I received when exchanging my Adapt Medium mattress for an Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. After sleeping on the Adapt medium for almost 2 months, I decided to exchange it for a softer mattress because it was too firm and causing discomfort. I went back to the store and spoke with the sales rep to ask for assistance selecting a softer Tempurpedic mattress. I didn't want to spend $1,000 more and eventually decided on the Adapt Medium Hybrid, hoping it would be softer. They didn't have the Adapt Medium Hybrid available to test at the showroom, and I was told it was only available online. I let the sales person know that I was specifically looking for softer support. The sales rep processed my exchange and in 6 days my new mattress was delivered. I was very disappointed to find that the Adapt Medium Hybrid was even more firm than the Adapt Medium mattress. I am now stuck with this mattress, paid an additional $100 for the exchange in addition to the $249.99 return processing fee, and I'm still experiencing discomfort.

Purchased the adapt mattress on closeout not realizing if I don't like it. I can't get my money back and I hate the mattress and they will not issue me a refund because I bought it at closeout price. If I would've purchased it a week later at full price I would get my money back. Makes no sense. Customer service sucks.

The foam in my mattress broke down and the coils broke down in a variety of spots. There was sagging and with many spots of broken down foam. This all happened in less then 5 years. Neither myself or wife are heavy weights. No reason for this to happen. Store we purchased from said it is not un common with the hybrid. Temper pedic refused coverage. I will be posting every where i can about their warranty fraud.

Our mattress is 26 years old and is as comfortable as when we first bought it. I never thought we would still be sleeping this comfortable on the same mattress. We've spent thousands of dollars on bed sets that would break down within a few years and every move would wake me up. But I was told about Temper-pedic, we checked it out and bought it the same day and slept great since.
Now.. with age and arthritis, this bed is more important than ever as it provides firmness and is gentle on the body.
We are looking to upgrade with hybrid, but having a tough time parting with our current mattress. What an amazing 26 years of sleeping experience this has been.
There's only great words for this bed.

I love the mattress. I removed my box spring which is a bit of an adjustment. The bed is comfortable and sturdy. The thickness of the mattress is good at 13".

I actually look forward to that first step into the bed at night. The bed that hugs you back. Never thought I would be a foam mattress guy because I sleep hot, but this is amazing.
How we got here. Had a 12 year old mattress that we new needed upgraded, but a week of spring break on a tempurpedic made it more apparent. Wife has lots of back pain and after one night on this mattress it was gone. I however had my mind set on a Saatva mattress that I had extensively researched, so ordered that instead. Huge mistake. It came and we both proceeded to have the worst night of sleep in years. The next day we went to a mattress firm and found the right one. So within three days, we had 2 mattresses delivered. I wouldn't recommend our process, but you can't put a price on sleep. Go with this one. Like sleeping on a cloud that gives you hugs.

A standard Queen is 60" x 80." The mattress I was delivered was 58" x 78". The mattress is also not very thick - only about 10" high so my fitted sheets are loose. I went back & forth arguing with customer service & they kept telling me I was measuring wrong in spite of sending several photos & video. They finally said I could exchange it for another tempur-pedic. No thanks. They finally agreed I could return it for a $175 restocking fee but they would not take the base back. I just don't feel I got what I paid for. I don't think this mattress was worth the price or the hassle.

Years ago I purchased my first TemperPedic bed and enjoyed the best sleep I've ever had. After 11 years it no longer worked and purchased a spring mattress because I couldn't afford a TemperPedic mattress. It was a very hard transition but I didn't have a choice. During these years I developed degenerative disc disease and was in constant pain so I decided to try TemperPedic again. It ended up being the best think I could do for my lower back. After about 3-4 days my back pain at night is completely gone. I'm a side sleeper and the bed adapts to my body perfectly. Although I still have lower back pain during the day I have the pleasure of knowing a I will have a full night's sleep without any pain whatsoever. Many times I linger in bed in the morning just to enjoy the complete comfort. I purchased the cheaper bed and wonder how great the more costly bed would feel. I'm thankful that I have a TemperPedic bed and that the company makes beds that alleviate can alleviate pain.

Had issue with foam cracking under cover on the edge of the mattress after 6 years of owning it, has a 10 year warranty but, buyer beware, they don't honor the warranty. They give excuses just so they don't have to replace it. Will be looking at a more reputable company.

We just bought our first tempurpedic mattress and a brand new bedroom set. The bed has wooden slats across the bottom. We were told we didn't need to purchase the solid platform if we weren't purchasing the adjustable base. Well after delivery the slats rattle each time you touch the bed. Upon reading the paperwork that comes with the bed it states to place mattress on a firm and solid surface. Ashley furniture should know this information correct! They have just about ruined this entire purchasing experience for us. Now I'm assuming we need to go purchase the platform. I suggest informing the retailers of the requirements when selling your products. Thank you.

I used to work for Mattress company for 3 years i was a Sleep Consultant . before i resigned i got my tempur Adapt medium hybrid Queen Size Mattress. I helped so many customers past 3 years and what i learned is Temper Pedic is best mattress for Comfort ,Pressure relief, Pain Relief - Specially back pain and cooling - it regulate your boday temperature. most non temper pedic customers ending up with tempur pedic mattresses and they always come back for Tempur-Pedic and most of Temper-pedic customers come to mattress store after 12 , 15 or 20 years. Good Quality and highly durable . most of other brands not last long and customers come after 7 ,8 or 9 years some even not use 5 years . because most of mattresses are sag Quickly. Temper-pedic -You pay for Best matterial in mattress industry. some other pillow top traditional mattresses are looks fancy and beautiful but its good for few years and after few years most of customers come back and purchase diffrent mattress or come for warrenty assistance. so my number one recomendation is Tempur-Pedic and i recommend medium hybrid or firm any model. i chose Adapt medium hybrid model for me and i love LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid and Luxe breeze medium Hybrid too. those are best for any sleep postions. Sleep is very very important in our life and invest for it. People who choose Tempur-pedic normaly not come back to store. So Get The Best Mattress.

I had high hopes for this mattress, but unfortunately, I was disappointed, although my body feels good on the mattress when I sleep, my shoulders are in extreme pain and discomfort and my arms become dumb and fall asleep. This is leading to long-term shoulder pain and discomfort in my arms, neck and back. I'm not getting a good night's rest. I was hoping after some time of breaking in the mattress this would change, but it has not and I don't think it will. I wish Temperpedic would compensate and fix this.

I love my temper pedic product this is my second purchase of this product, I find this mattress to be very comfortable to sleep on. I purchased a new one because I felt my husband and I needed a bit more space,the last one was just a full size. i feel they are a bit on the pricy side. But you do get long wear out of it. I did reccomend this to others as well

First year bed was great. After that it's been awful.both my husband and I wake up daily with backaches and toss. And Ruth all night because we cannot get comfortable and have to reposition from discomfort. We have had the bed for 3 years and I am so sad we wasted our money. This bed was not cheap.

10/10 do NOT recommend. My mattress did not last but 3-4 years like a standard and much cheaper mattress. When I filed the warranty claim they denied it and said they would not replace it due to improper base support, even though the base we have was directly recommended by a Tempur expert. I will NEVER support this company again. My friends and family will also be moving away from Tempur as a whole. Not worth the money.

I did Ballet & Gymnastics for 20 years, so have pain in my back from thoracic spondylosis and often have pain in my neck. This bed is LIFE CHANGING! This mattress adapts to your individual back assisting in comfort on the areas that have more pressure on them. Whether you have a normal back, cervical problems, thoracic problems, lumbar problems or just had back surgery, this mattress helps with all areas. It's superior to any other mattresses I've owned. This is the second TEMPUR-pedic mattress and base that I've bought. The first one is still in the same condition as when I got it on day 1 and the base still functions exactly the same! That was 14 years ago. I haven't had one problem with it. I bought this second bed to upgrade a the bed in my spare bedroom for when my Mom comes to visit. She slept in my other TEMPUR-pedic and said it was the best night's sleep she's ever had! My friend recently had back surgery and also got this bed. She said that it made all the difference in her recovery. It helped with her pain and the base with the massage/vibration helped her circulation preventing blood clots.
Amazing Part-you can use this mattress with a SPLIT-base without needing the split mattresses! I wanted to be able to cuddle my husband without having a split down the middle, but still be able to control my side of the base separate from his. He often likes his bed flat and I like my head elevated. You can still do that with this mattress and all normal mattress sizes. You can order a regular TEMPUR-pedic mattress with a split base. You can customize the remotes to either control the mattress as a whole or an individual side. Even though one side elevates, it doesn't ruin the comfort for the other person.
I will never buy another brand other than TEMPUR-pedic!

My old mattress was almost 25 years old. Not surprisingly, I started experiencing back pain from sleeping on it. I was hesitant to spend so much on a new mattress, but after just one night I would buy one for everyone I love if I could. I've never slept on a better mattress. Not even in a luxury hotel. I was told it might take a few months to adjust. Nope! If it gets any better, I may never get out of bed again!

I bought this mattress a week ago, since then I have not been able to sleep, I wake up every morning with back pain that doesn't let me function throughout my day. I bought it thinking it was the best decision based on the prestigious background and reviews but I didn't know how much damage to my health this would cause me; my sleep experience is terrible and all I do is tossing and turning all night trying to get some rest and alleviate the pain I have on my middle back, hip and shoulders.
I'm very disappointed with this mattress purchase. Would not recommend to anyone, do your due diligence research before buying it, don't believe reviews that talk highly about this mattress.

We really wanted to enjoy this mattress, but it was still too firm for us. When I initially sit/lay on it seemed super soft and like it molded to me, but sleeping on it my pressure points are sore 😢
If you prefer a little firmer mattress then it may be great for you.
