Health Benefits of Sleeping on an Adjustable Mattress
Adjustable Beds can actually make you healthier. The medical benefits are not just for hospitals anymore, and adding a memory foam mattress can make your sleep experience that much better. A flat bed causes your body to shift into cramped positions and cause improper posture as you sleep. People with back or joint problems are made worse by sleeping on a flat bed. Sleeping on your side causes problems with breathing and circulation. Adjustable beds allow you to sleep on your back and by inclining your upper body and lower body into a more comfortable position. Many of us find it enjoyable to rest on a recliner and there are reasons why it becomes a place to relax. Today people read in bed, work on their laptops and watch TV in bed. On a flat bed you must arrange many pillows to make yourself comfortable. The pillows move out of position and you end up with a back or neck ache.

Alleviate Back Pain
Patients with back pain are advised to use adjustable beds. A flat bed may not provide the proper support for the spinal cord, resulting in excess back pain and restless sleep. Inclining the bed at 45 degrees provides relief for the lower back. By raising the foot of the bed relieves even more pressure on the spine, which raises the legs and bends the knees. Patients having low back surgery feel an adjustable bed is far more comfortable than a flat bed. Adjusting the bed up or down redistributes the pressure across your body, which can help alleviate lower back pain. Additionally, you can actually stretch your back from bed, by positioning it upright and slowly lowering it down.
Relief from Acid Reflex and Heartburn
Patients suffering from acidity benefit from having their upper body elevated 6 to 8 inches. This helps the stomach to retain the acids. On a flat bed, acid moves to the esophagus leading to episodes of acid reflex or heartburn. Elevating the head while sleeping helps the stomach retain acids that might otherwise travel up the esophagus and cause heartburn.

Arthritis
Patients experiencing pain from arthritis located in upper body or lower body will benefit from the Adjustable Bed. The King-sized Soft mattresses are not the stated dimensions--actually 74" wide instead of 76", and also at least an inch shorter than they're supposed to be. We started with a Medium Hybrid which was exactly the correct size, but when we switched to a Soft it was significantly smaller and left a large gap in our bed frame (which wasn't there with the Medium). We submitted a warranty claim with photos of the incorrect measurements, which after making us jump through some hoops they approved, but the new replacement mattress was delivered today and it's also too small! I know a couple of inches may not sound like a lot, but when you spend a small fortune on a mattress, at a minimum you expect it to be the correct size. Pretty disappointed here.

My husband and I have been loyal Tempur Pedic customers since 2008 and we have seen the quality plummet with our last purchase. Our first queen Tempur Pedic mattress from 2008 was excellent and lasted well over 10 years with no issues. We then moved that original one to our guest room and opted for another queen sized model that promised additional cooling. After about 8-9 years that model seemed to be getting too soft where we slept so we purchased a king size LuxeBreeze mattress in early 2024 since we wanted a bigger bed any way. WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS. After only a year we started noticing that the mattress no longer seemed to be keeping us cool. But the real issues were just starting. I started having terrible back pain that would wake me up in the night and noticed that both of our sides where we slept had lost significant pressure relief. I have been going to the chiropractor religiously since and trying to find relief with virtually no progress. It really started to make sense when we were out of town and I had zero back pain sleeping on random hotel mattresses. We contacted Tempur Pedic with a warranty claim for our mattress this spring (2026), since at 2 years of age it showed a reduction in pressure relief consistent with at least a 10 year old mattress. We submitted all the required pictures, videos, documents, even when they kept requesting more and more claiming that shadows from our bed frame were stains. Finally they agreed that there were not stains and these were indeed shadows, but refused to send someone out to feel the bed in person and said that the sagging "was not severe enough" to approve our warranty claim. In our opinion, with the obvious quality decline in these mattresses that we have witnessed, they may be hoping that people just give up and buy something else since the bed is so difficult to sleep on and they won't need to honor the warranty if the beds are having issues this early on. Once I started reading other recent reviews of the same mattress model I found several others that matched up almost exactly. People with back pain going to the chiropractor constantly, before realizing that the mattress was at the heart of the issue, and then being denied their warranty claim. We are extremely disappointed in this brand that we have been loyal to for almost 20 years. After spending almost $5,000 on this mattress, we made it only two years without it feeling like a 10 year old mattress. Avoid our mistake and look elsewhere for your next mattress purchase.

We walked into the Tempurpedic store on a random Saturday looking for a new bed. We were met with Ali, a kind, knowledgeable, attentive salesperson. When we told him what we were looking for, he told us we would be there for a few hours to allow him to help us find the perfect sleep "system" for us. We looked at each other and laughed thinking there was no way this would take that long. And then Ali took us through many mattresses, many pillows and asked important questions about how each of us slept, or didn't sleep, headaches, or other aches that we suffered with. And we bought our sleep system, and eagerly awaited its delivery. We have had our new bed(s) (we ended up with a split king because of our different needs) for 2 weeks now, and honestly, where has this been all my life? I sleep better than I ever have, my energy is on the upswing and overall, our quality of sleep is exponentially better. There is not a single thing I don't love about our new bed.

I love how I sleep, but it is soooooo heavy. Very difficult to put sheets on. If you're strong and can easily move the mattress, you're in great hands. Otherwise it is very difficult to move.

Woke up every morning with back pain. Spoke with customer service about changing to a softer mattress. Customer service rep said the exchange will be considered as FINAL sale and cannot return or exchange for another mattress, even though the purchase is still within their 90 days trial period.
Also, the LuxeBreeze does not keep me cool as advertised.
For such an expensive purchase, costumers should be able to exchange the mattress and be able to return it if the purchase is within 90 days. I expect more from the company.

In order to fall asleep I used to run through tried and true recipes in my head instead of counting sheep. Can't tell you how many times I cooked a full Thanksgiving meal in my head waiting to fall asleep. This no longer seems to be necessary in our new bed. And honestly - where has this kind of sleep technology been all my life! Cooling technology, head raises, feet raises, vibration for my tired legs and even a frequency to help with migraines?!?!? If you are a hot sleeper, you know how frustrating it is to stay cool. Foam mattresses are not easy to pick when it comes to staying cool, either. I bought this mattress after testing it at a local shop, and it has been great. If you want the full Tempur-Pedic experience, get the medium firmness mattress. After it breaks in (it will be firm at first) it's absolutely perfect.

We are faithful to the Tempur-Pedic brand. This is our second mattress purchase. We selected the LuxeBreeze Queen Hybrid mattress because of the positive reviews we read and too, because once we tried the floor model, we knew without a doubt we were making the right choice. So far, I can honestly say I've had the best sleep in years. I believe my husband is sleeping better, too since this mattress is designed to help keep you cool throughout your sleep. A definite upgrade from our previous mattress. The price tag is a tad expensive but in my eyes, it's truly worth every penny if I can wake feeling refreshed every morning.

I've owned a lot of mattresses over the years, and this is, without question, the best one I've ever slept on. The LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid has completely changed the way I sleep.
The cooling technology actually works. I used to wake up hot several times a night, but now I stay comfortably cool from the time I fall asleep until morning. I honestly didn't realize how much overheating was affecting my sleep until I experienced the difference.
The support is incredible too. It has the perfect balance of contouring and responsiveness, so I feel like I'm sleeping in the mattress instead of sinking through it. As a side sleeper, I wake up with far less stiffness and soreness than I used to.
Pairing it with the Ergo ProSmart base has been even better. Being able to adjust the position for reading or relaxing, combined with the overall comfort of the mattress, has made my bedroom feel like a luxury hotel.

I don't normally do reviews so this is short. Had a Tempur-Pedic beige this one for 17 years. Wouldn't recommend keeping for that long but you get the idea. It had reached its end. Bought another mattress thinking I could do a less expensive since it was just for me now. Short story I sent back and went back to tempur. Bought the original when I was having sciatica episode. Laying on mattresses in store at the time the tempur was only one that made it feel better. Been having lower back issues (don't keep any mattress 17 years, even a tempur) but since having my new one my lower back is definitely better. Only way to go.

I've always been a fan of Tempur Pedic. I first purchased their mattress toppers when I was a college student. Later on as a post-doc I finally purchased one of their older mattresses and loved it.
Now fast forward so many years later as a 38 year old, generally healthy adult. BUT, with a pretty serious sleep apnea. I've always been a light sleeper, but this was news to me. So very quickly I of course worked with my doctor to get the CPAP machine, but I also knew I needed a high quality mattress.
I invested in this particular mattress because I need to best quality sleep possible. It was the perfect time for me to get it since I'm officially a new home owner and needed a new bed.
It is absolutely worth it. This quality mattress combined with the cpap mask is what's saving my life.
Some people might find this review dramatic, but as someone who has struggled with sleeping issues; this has been one of the best investments.
If people are willing to spend thousands every year on iPhones or technology, then why not think about a high quality mattress? You literally spend more time sleeping than you do on your computer over your lifetime (or at least I hope most people do, otherwise I'd be questioning why the heck are you negating sleep for less important gadgets)?
You get more from a mattress than any computer - AND even a car in my opinion. It's worth it for the sake of my health.
In terms of firmness, I did go with the soft one. I'm a little unusual than most people, because I prefer softer mattresses. But if you prefer firmer, than get it firmer for yourself.
Since I'm pretty familiar with their products, I knew exactly what i wanted for awhile. I just needed to invest in it at the right time.
This review is literally being written the day before my 38th birthday (on June 22nd). My birthday is tomorrow on June 23rd. The best gift I can give myself is the best quality sleep possible.

This is my third temperpic mattress, The hybrid mattress in the Breeze that has 10degree cooling is very comfortable and supportive , I went from a queen firm breeze to a split king hybrid . Since I am a side sleeper it is much more comfortable and I am able to sleep well. I like that it is good quality, and the manufacturer stands behind their products. I love everything about it , nothing that I Do not like except the price but you get what you pay for, I paired it up with the pro base which increase the comfort with a lumbar support , mZ vibration and Bluetooth speaker you can pay white noise through and fall a sleep faster. Would highly recommend Tempe pedic as you spend over 1/3 of your life sleeping so you should enjoy your sleep and wake up refreshed so you can enjoy the other 2/3 of you a wake life.
