Health Benefits of Sleeping on an Adjustable Mattress
Adjustable Beds can actually make you healthier. The medical benefits are not just for hospitals anymore, and adding a memory foam mattress can make your sleep experience that much better. A flat bed causes your body to shift into cramped positions and cause improper posture as you sleep. People with back or joint problems are made worse by sleeping on a flat bed. Sleeping on your side causes problems with breathing and circulation. Adjustable beds allow you to sleep on your back and by inclining your upper body and lower body into a more comfortable position. Alleviate Back Pain
Patients with back pain are advised to use adjustable beds. A flat bed may not provide the proper support for the spinal cord, resulting in excess back pain and restless sleep. Inclining the bed at 45 degrees provides relief for the lower back. By raising the foot of the bed relieves even more pressure on the spine, which raises the legs and bends the knees. On a flat bed, acid moves to the esophagus leading to episodes of acid reflex or heartburn. Elevating the head while sleeping helps the stomach retain acids that might otherwise travel up the esophagus and cause heartburn.
Improve Breathing for Maximum Lung Expansion
Patients are able to improve breathing, which delivers more oxygen to the body. This prevents the heart from working harder to deliver oxygen and blood to vital organs. Those suffering from congestion also benefit from the bed being elevated. Keeping sinus and lungs clear, and keeps fluid and mucus at bay. Asthma and Snoring
Elevating the upper body benefits patients with Asthma. On a horizontal mattress it restricts air tubes and increases the difficulty of moving air to vital major organs. KG Luxe Breeze 2 Med Hybrid & ProSmart Powerbase and 2 pillows delivered today & set up. L side mattress seems to be separated in 2 layers from the side. The delivery guys said its normal and it will reconform in time as its been sitting on side until now. I hope they are correct. I called and spoke to my wonderful sales lady who also assured me if in 30 days it hasn't to let them know and they will replace. I cant wait to start my new sleep journey. Now to figure out all the functions the base can do with an app you download. Can use with the remote or my phone which is a nice option. Cant wait to see how the snore sensor works for my hubby. I will review again in 30 days to let you know how its going. So far I am pleased with my purchase.

Dipping so bad on one side sleep has suffered immensely,l. We thought we were being smart getting the 10 year warranty, however that just wasn't the case, we submitted our claim and they told us it just doesn't dip enough. As a mattress that costs THOUSANDS of dollars I feel none of this should have ever been a problem. So now either we get awful sleep to try and make this expensive purchase worth it, or we have to go out and spend even more money on a new mattress. Oh and I didn't even mention the fact that the adjustable base didn't work right from the day we got it. Moral of the story is I'll never buy a Tempur-pedic again. I HIGHLY recommend you buy anything else!

I had a temper-pedic mattress for 10 years before the memory foam no longer filled in the spaces in my lower back or my sides. I replaced in 2021 with this model expecting the same quality and longevity. After 2 years the memory foam stopped filling in the spaces in my body and turned into a bowl. It got so bad over the 3rd year that I developed a bulging disk in my L4-L5 and could no longer sleep in it. I would also sweat every night to the point where we were washing sheets weekly. I was so disappointed I ended up building my own custom mattress using Talalay and Dunlop latex foams with an organic cotton cover. I've not woken up with back pain or in a pool of sweat since. The custom mattress also cost 80% less. I will never go back to a tempur-pedic even though I had been a big fan for over a decade. Please note this is my personal experience and opinion based on mattresses I have paid for and personally used. Thank you.

We have had a tempurpedic mattress for over 10 years and loved it. We purchased a new Lux Breeze for a new house and it is hands down the worst mattress we have ever slept on. It feels like we are sleeping in a concrete driveway. After 6 months of miserable sleep we are considering trashing it and buying something else. Major waste of over $5,000. I won't even put this in a guest room.

I originally had a Luxebreeze 2.0 Med Hyb for about 2 months and it was too firm for a side sleeper. The company exchanged it for a Luxebreeze 2.0 Soft under its 100 day program. The new mattress has acceptable characteristics on the left side, but some place in the middle the material becomes firmer and if you lie on that transition point your body is at a uncomfortable tilt even after 30 min or so. Additionally the claim of cooling has not been experienced. It is possible that having to put the Tempur Pedic waterproof mattress protector on it negates this feature. I bought a expensive mattress to be able to use the whole surface of the bed, not just the left side. When I received the Luxebreeze 2.0 Soft mattress it was over one year old from the manufacture date on the law tag, and I do not know how it was stored or if that had any effect on why the right side is so much "firmer".

DO NOT BUY!! This is our 2nd tempur-pedic we've owned and I won't ever buy again. The cooling features are a complete scam, there was absolutely no detectable difference in ambient temperature vs the bed. I reached out to customer service multiple times to see if my unit was defective but no one took me seriously or gave me a solution. Don't spend your money on this because it's no different than any other standard memory foam mattress. And yes my sheets are cotton and our bedroom is at a constant 70 degrees F, well within the range of temperature this mattress is supposed to work. Extremely disappointed that I spent so much more money for the useless cooling on this model.

This is my second Tempurpedic mattress purchase. Both are the hybrid. The mattress itself is far superior to anything on the market. My first mattress is almost 10 years old but still looks and feels brand new, but with me starting menopause it was just too warm for me. I purchased the 10 degree cooler medium hybrid to replace it and although the mattress itself is just as comfortable as my old one I have one complaint. I do not like the feel or texture of the zip topper on the new one and was forced to purchase an organic cotton topper which adds to the overall cost of the product. I took one star off for this reason.

After my first back surgery we bought a Tempurpedic mattress in early 2000's. Since then both my husband and I have had other injuries/ surgeries & getting older. We continue to do best on Tempurpedic mattresses. Support & comfort better than anything we tried. One of our adult children has one too.
The pitfall for me is the smell/off gassing when new. I can't sleep on it for about 2 weeks, without having respiratory issues & nausea from smell.

It takes a little getting used to going from an extra thick and soft pillow top bed to a tempur-pedic Lux Breeze but almost immediately I experienced great sleep and started waking up rested before my alarm went off. Only complaint is the first few minutes when you get in and it feels like you are laying in cool mud.....but once it warms up it is very comfortable.

I previously had an Adapt Temper-pedic and wanted something that was cooler. The Luxbreeze fits the bill! It is very comfortable and I now get a better nights sleep than ever before. The mattress is definitely cool to touch and I was even able to add another light blanket to my bed. It has also improved my hip pain that I had been experiencing as well. I am one month into sleeping on the Luxe Breeze and am loving it. I have to admit the first few weeks were rough - this mattress starts firm and is hard to get used to. But now that I've broken it in (some), it is great and getting better every night. For current cons, my shoulders still get sore (I'm a side sleeper) so I have to turn over several times at night, and I still sleep hot on it (not sure why the cooling isn't working as advertised), but I'm confident things will improve. I'm still in the trial period, but feel confident I'll keep the mattress. I now love the feel of the tempur material and look forward to sinking into the mattress every night. Honestly, I'm starting to believe this will be the best mattress of my life (and I'm 64, and have gone through a bunch). So far so good!

First Tempur bed. I chose the Soft. Its firmer than i was expecting but, thats not a bad thing. Ive been able to sleep on back or side without issue. Its also definitely cooler to sleep on. Looking forward to it lasting for years to come.

Really like the bed, but Tempur-pedic does not like to take phone calls and also does not particularly like to deal with issues at customers seem to have especially in the stores and through third parties when you go to third-party sellers like mattress firm they are also misleading you with information that's not policy so great product but manufacture and third-party dealers suck buyers we were also Tempur-pedic will do everything they can avoid your warranty, so be sure to check out everything on their website because if you put this on any other boxspring avoids the warranty if you put this on the floor, it avoids the warranty they try to get out of everything they Can

Love this mattress! It's firmer than the one we laid on at the store but salesman said it would take 60 days to break in. Regardless, it is comfortable & a wonderful mattress if you have back problems.

I have a queen tempur cloud mattress that is 10 years old that sleeps amazing. We wanted to go king size so after much research was advised that the Luxe Breeze was compatible to the cloud. WRONG WRONG WRONG!! I have wasted over $6000 for a mattress that I can't even sleep on. I am so disappointed that we were mislead into believing this was the same as the cloud. This was my third tempur pedic and definitely my last. Don't advertise a soft mattress when it's like sleeping on bricks. And yes we gave it 6 months of total torture trying to sleep so it is definitely "broke in". If you are planning on buying one of these I highly recommend you go and lay in it for a bit. VERY dissatisfied customer

This is a replacement for my old Tempur-Pedic Deluxe from forever ago (it was amazing!). It is as comfortable as my last one, barring I am not fan of the honeycomb texture/feel to it, prefer the smooth feeling of my old one. Not sure about the 10 degrees cooler factor as of yet. I hope the quality continues for many years to come as did my old one.

I was a little skeptical about this because I liked regular mattresses, my son and my husband convinced me to try this because my son loves his, not sorry for getting this, had extreme back pain for years with in a month it has subsided I now I can get out of bed with minimal pain the cooling system is wonderful thank you for improving my sleep

We ordered a Tempur LuxeBreeze (soft) and couldn't be happier. Yes the bed is firm, but we expect a break-in period. Don't give up on the bed until you give it two months to break in. It is a dream once you give it time to break in. The delivery crew was prompt, professional, and courteous. We love the bed.

My mattress of less than a year feels like it has been slept on for decades and degraded to the point where it does not provide support. I wake up every morning struggling to get out of bed due to significant lower back pain and stiffness. It started feeling that way after only a few months of use.
I bought a King size LUXEbreeze soft mattress in March of 2024. It was a 2023 close-out item, so not eligible for trial, exchange, or return. I was fully aware of that going into it, so that is on me. But the thing is, I had bought a queen size of the same exact mattress model in July of 2019 and I loved it! Even though it is soft, it still provides enough support. I woke up feeling rested, and without any bed induced stiffness or soreness. So, in my mind it was a no-brainer. I had already had a nearly 5-year trial period and knew the mattress worked for me. I "upgraded" to the king size mattress because my partner now likes to spread out when he sleeps and I like my space. This seemed like the perfect solution - getting a mattress I knew worked well, just in a larger size and with the bonus of being discounted.
I suspected from early on that there was actually something significantly different about the mattresses because after only 2-3 months, I started waking up in the mornings, consistently, with nagging lower back pain and aches that persisted throughout the day. I feel like this confirmed after last night, when I had a chance to sleep on my old mattress, and woke up this morning with virtually none of the lower back pain I experience with the king size version of the mattress. I realize it is only one night, but this was a night where I only had 4.5 hours of sleep and had been sitting for a majority of the day before. So, by all accounts, I should have not felt "better" in the morning.
My conclusion is you cannot count on the consistency of quality in the TEMPER-PEDIC mattresses. So, even if you are buying a mattress you have slept on before and believe is good, you do not know for sure that is what you will get again. So never buy a TEMPER-PEDIC mattress without the ability to trial, return, or exchange it.
