How can I request pricing for something on the website?

Requesting pricing for a product on our site is as easy as one, two, three.

  1. Click the black 'Request Pricing' button to add your product to your list.
  2. Click 'Continue Shopping' to add more items, or if you are ready to submit your list, Click the 'Proceed' button.
  3. Enter your contact information and Click 'Send Request'.

Once you have submitted your request, it is sent directly to one of our sales consultants. They will research the items you are interested in, and respond with some base pricing within 2 business days of your initial request.

Why don’t you have pricing for every product on your website?

The simple answer is that there is too much variety to keep up with in our custom catalog. Often times, the upholstered furniture items that you are viewing on our site are available in thousands of different options and the price may vary contingent on the quality of fabric you select, the layout of the furniture you create, the trim you include and the finishes you select.

Tyndall Furniture and Mattress is a local, family owned and operated business. Due to our size, we don’t have the resources to update our website consistently with the ever-changing prices associated with the thousands of upholstery options, trim options, finishes, and features available for custom, special order furniture.

We understand that at times this can be frustrating for our customers because they want an answer to their pricing quickly. We apologize for the inconvenience and promise that we will make it up to you by offering the highest level of customer service throughout your entire shopping experience. Our marketing and web development team is working hard to include pricing on the site for basic models of our furniture and hope to have more pricing available by the end of 2020. We greatly appreciate your patience and loyal support of our family owned and operated business in the meantime.

The fastest way to check the status of your furniture or mattress is order is to give us a call at our office during normal business hours. To reach the office team member that is responsible for order status, call (803)802-7710 x3229. They will be able to check the status of your order from the vendor and get you the information within minutes. If you prefer not to call you can reach out by email at sharon@tyndallfurniture.com and someone will get back to you right away during normal business hours.

Why is the upholstery on my sofa pilling?

Pills appear on upholstery when groups of short broken fibers on the surface of the fabric become tangled among themselves in a tiny knot or ball, which is also known as a pill. The pills are formed by rubbing and abrasion that occurs during normal use. Pills occur most in areas where the fabric is exposed to the most day-to-day use, such as the center of a cushion or the arms or your upholstered furniture. Although it is most likely to appear in the highest traffic areas, pilling can appear anywhere on your furniture.

Do you do re-upholstery?

We do not offer re-upholstery but we are happy to refer two local businesses. Davis Upholstery in Pineville, NC and Carolina Upholstery in Fort Mill, SC.

If I use your financing, how much will my payments be?

The payment amount will vary depending on the purchase price of your total order, and the number of payments available in your financing terms. This will be determined after you complete the application through Wells Fargo and the terms are approved at point of sale. How do I make the my payments on my financed purchase?

Full instructions regarding how and when to make your payments will be provided to you in your financing packet. Wells Fargo offers options to pay your monthly bill online, with a check by mail, or with a credit or debit card over the phone.

Do my financing payments come out automatically?

Wells Fargo offers the option to schedule automatic drafted payments directly from your credit/debit card or from your bank account for your financed amount. Additional information about setting up your auto payments will be contained in the financing packet that you will receive within 30-45 days after your initial purchase.

Can I change the amount or number of my payments on my financing?

We prefer that you do not change your number of payments once your financing term has been set in place. This can complicate your paperwork. Instead we suggest that you consider that there are no penalties for paying off your financed amount early. Since this is the case, rather than changing your financing terms, you can choose to increase your payment amount and therefore shorten your term.

Are delivery and sales tax included in my payments?

To finance your purchase, it is required that you put down one quarter of the total purchase price of the order in cash, check or by debit. We also require that you pay your delivery fees and sales tax up front. These terms may vary according to the terms of your purchase. For example, free sales tax or free delivery may be offered as exclusive promotions. If this is the case, you will still be required to put down only one quarter of the total purchase price.

How soon will my financing packet arrive?

The paperwork associated with your financing terms will be delivered to you directly from Wells Fargo. It is important that you provide us with accurate contact information so that we can deliver this directly to you. You paperwork will arrive after 30-45 days.
